Season Dates - 2010

Due to the closure of the Mildura Arts Centre from December 2009, Electric Light Theatre is not able to stage a show this season. For further information please email a Committee member. The Committee has backed a proposal to establish a new Production Team. We hope to announce the appointment of a new Producer. The new Team has had its first meeting, and has made some progress. However we do need more members to handle the work load. Please contact us if you might like to be a part of the Production Team admin@elt.org.au

We are excited about celebrating our 25th. year in 2011 We have contacted past Cast by letter in the near future with all the latest details. Also Cast & CrewApplication forms are in all local schools.



Arts Centre Theatre Mildura has closed
The Mildura Rural City has been granted Federal and State Government funding, together with some funding from the Council, amounting to a total of $8.7m. It has been decided to close the Theatre in December 2009, for extensive rebuilding. It is likely to be closed until November 2011. ELT will stage its 2011 season in January 2011 in the Mercy Theatre

Rehearsals will be held at Nichols Point Scout Centre. Cast are accepted into the show on condition that they attend rehearsals regularly, and comply with all reasonable requests of the Production team. Failure to attend on 4 rehearsals will normally result in the Cast member being retired from the show, unless good reason can be shown. Please note that extended family holidays or sports functions are not considered as leave, and any parent contemplating holidays in the production season, should discuss the matter with one of the Production Team. Attendance at the weekend rehearsals are compulsory for all cast. As the January weekend rehearsal is the last rehearsal before we move into the theatre. We need all cast so that the show can be properly rehearsed as a complete team.
