A youth Theatre Production promoting stagecraft training for the young

Arts Centre Theatre in Mildura has closed for rebuilding. Planning is under way. It is anticipated that construction work will commence in October 2010, with reopening in November 2011 The performance of our show will be in the Mercy Theatre..

We are excited about celebrating our 25th. year in 2011 If you read this and would like to be a member of the Cast. Please e-mail us on admin@elt.org.au or write to PO Box 2934, MILDURA 3502, with your contact details. Click on the "Join" button for an application form for Cast & Crew of ELT.

We have had our first Production Meeting. However we need more people to join the Production Team. If you are willing and have the "Working with children" card, and a creative mind contact me (Mike) to discuss your involvement on 03 5023 4166.

    What is ELT?
Electric Light Theatre is a really cool way to learn about stagecraft and at the same time get to meet others who have a similar interest.
Electric Light Theatre has been entertaining the public for 23 years.

Over that time over 500 young entertainers have been part of our show. We have performed in Mildura, Ouyen and Murrayville to about

1400 patrons each year. The Show currently runs to a budget of around $27,000.

Auditions are held in September and we choose a cast of about 90 from the people that we audition.  Applications are open for persons wishing to take part in back stage roles.  These include Costumes, Make up, Scenery construction, Stage hands, Lighting, Audio, Orchestra, etc.
